Organisé depuis 1994 par la Fondation İKSV, le Festival de Jazz d'Istanbul est l'événement musical estival le plus emblématique de Turquie et l'un des membres fondateurs de l'International Jazz Festivals Organization (IJFO), aux côtés de Montreux et Montréal. La 33e édition se tient du 30 juin au 13 juillet 2026 sur plus de 10 lieux iconiques de la ville — de la scène en plein air d'Harbiye Cemil Topuzlu aux jardins du consulat d'Italie, du ferry du Bosphore à la salle de l'AKM — avec une affiche d'exception réunissant Marcus Miller (hommage à Miles Davis), Robert Plant, Arooj Aftab et Veronica Swift, soit près de 30 concerts et 200 artistes en 14 jours.
