Tickets and pricing
General admission floor tickets for Ed Sheeran stadium shows typically range from $75 to $250 face value. Platinum and VIP packages reach $600 or more per ticket. Resale prices vary by city but tend to run 1.5 to 2x face value in the weeks before the show.
- 🎟️ Official sale: Ticketmaster (most US dates). Some dates use AXS. Check edsheeran.com/tour for the correct ticketing platform per city.
- 🎟️ Resale: Stubhub, SeatGeek and Vivid Seats. Expect a premium above face value for lower-bowl seating.
- 🎟️ Best seats at face value: lower bowl sides (not behind the stage) and GA floor centre. GA offers the closest experience but requires arriving early.
- 🎟️ Toronto date: uses Ticketmaster Canada; prices in CAD.
Ed Sheeran typically plays a full B-stage in the middle of the floor during the show, which means upper bowl seats at the centre can have better sightlines than lower bowl side seats. Check seat views on SeatGeek's 360 tool before buying.
What to expect at a stadium show
Ed Sheeran plays stadium shows solo with a loop pedal setup. No backup band, no elaborate staging. The show runs approximately 2 to 2.5 hours across 25-30 songs. He builds each song live by looping guitar, vocal and beatbox layers before your eyes.
- 🎸 Setlist structure: opens with recent singles, moves through a Greatest Hits mid-set block, closes with fan favourites (Shape of You, Thinking Out Loud, Bad Habits typical closers)
- 🎤 B-stage: a smaller performance area in the middle of the floor where Ed plays 5-7 songs up close. GA floor positions near the B-stage are the most coveted.
- 📱 LED wristbands: previous tours have used Xylobands or similar synchronized LED wristbands. Check the official tour communication closer to the date.
- 🕐 Doors: typically 5:30pm. Support act finishes around 8pm. Ed Sheeran takes the stage around 8:30pm.
Setlists vary slightly by night but the core 20 songs remain consistent throughout a tour. Check setlist.fm after the first few shows for an up-to-date song list.
City-by-city access tips
- 🗽 East Rutherford (MetLife): NJ Transit train from Penn Station or the Port Authority Bus Terminal. The stadium has its own rail stop (Meadowlands Station) on show nights.
- 🍑 Atlanta (Mercedes-Benz): MARTA rail to Vine City Station, directly adjacent to the stadium. Drive-in parking is available but slow on exit.
- 🏈 Dallas-Fort Worth (AT&T Stadium, Arlington): no rail access. Uber/Lyft from Dallas or Fort Worth recommended. The AT&T Arlington shuttle runs from select park-and-ride locations.
- 🌴 Hollywood, FL (Hard Rock Live): smaller venue (5,500 capacity) compared to the stadiums. Book well in advance. Accessible from Miami by US-1 or Tri-Rail.
- 🌊 Tampa (Raymond James): Hillsborough Area Regional Transit (HART) runs event buses from downtown Tampa to the stadium. Parking lots open 4h before gates.
For the New York, Boston and Philadelphia shows, plan your post-show transport before you arrive. These stadiums can take 30 to 60 minutes to clear after the show ends.
Planning tips
- ✅ Arrive 30 minutes before doors open: GA floor fills from the front, and positions near the B-stage go fast
- ✅ Clear bag policy: all Ed Sheeran stadium shows enforce a clear bag policy. Maximum bag size is typically 12x6x12 inches.
- ✅ Merch lines: the official merchandise queue opens 2-3 hours before doors. Expect 30-45 minute waits on busy nights.
- ✅ Hearing considerations: Ed Sheeran shows are typically between 100 and 105 dB in the floor area. Ear protection is optional but useful for long exposure.
- ✅ Hotel booking: for cities where you are travelling from out of town, book your hotel the same day you buy tickets. Stadium shows book out surrounding accommodation fast.
- ✅ Flight protection: if you are flying in for one of these shows, delayed or cancelled flights can be claimed for compensation after the fact
