The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade is the largest parade in the United States, running annually since 1924. In 2026 it takes place on Thursday, November 26, with the route running from 77th Street and Central Park West south to Macy's Herald Square at 34th Street.

Getting there and getting around
Thanksgiving weekend is the busiest travel weekend in the United States. Flights and trains fill up fast and prices surge sharply.
